Where even silence surrenders, Brahmānanda begins.

A poetic wave of Om̐, Nāda, and Ānanda — dissolving the self into the soundless Self.

🧘🏽‍♂️ How Brahmānanda Lahri Was Received

This composition was not crafted — it was received.

In the stillness of Brahma Muhurta, as darkness softened into light, I sat in silence.
No intention. No melody. No thought. Just breath.

And from the space beyond words — where Nāda rises without cause, the verses began flowing.
One after another, like a forgotten stream returning to its origin.

    I did not write it.
I simply disappeared enough for it to arrive.

    This is not a song.
It is a remembrance. A surrender. A wave of the eternal Self whispering back into form.

    🕉️ The Mantric Chorus

    Translation:

Om the Eternal, Om the Peaceful,
Om the Root of All Worlds, Om the Great Bliss,
    Salutations, infinite salutations.

This mantra is the nādi-spanda — the breathless rhythm that returns like a heartbeat after each transcendental verse.

📜 The 10 Verses of Brahmānanda Lahri

    (With Devanagari + English Translation)

    Verse 1

Om! Supreme Bliss, Ultimate Peace — Eternal, Complete, and Stainless.
Truth and Joy as form — To That Brahman, I bow.

    Verse 2

Even in void, the light pulses — of blissful nature.
Where speech dissolves, I take refuge in that Brahmānanda.

    Verse 3

The light melts into the eyes, and the inner song awakens.
Where the mind dances — there is Nāda Brahman’s supreme state.

    Verse 4

The throat trembles with Hari’s sound, the heart floods with fullness.
There is no seen or seer — only Brahman is known.

    Verse 5

Which the yogis absorb and enter into silence beneath trees —
Having forsaken ego, I bow to that blissful Brahman.

    Verse 6

No action, no journey, no division, no pain —
Where “I am Brahman” pulses as consciousness in the Self.

    Verse 7

An unstruck sound arises — merging into the crown.
In silence, the Self pulses — and dances in Brahman’s bliss.

    Verse 8

Where dance, flame, music, and poetry dissolve —
What remains is the very embodiment of Brahmānanda.

    Verse 9

The liberated soul does not play with the world.
Having renounced all bonds — it merges into the wondrous, blissful Brahman.

    Verse 10

Where there is no chant, no bow, no mantra, no path —
Where the Self shines by itself — there I take refuge in Brahman.

    🌸 Bhāva-Sāra – Essence of the Lahri

Brahmānanda Lahri is not a hymn for worship.

It is a vibration of remembrance, flowing from the Self to the Self.

There is no seeker here — only seeking dissolving.
There is no mantra here — only the echo before sound.

Each verse is a ripple of nāda, samādhi, and bliss-consciousness — offering no goal but presence, no philosophy but experience.

    This is not devotion.
    This is dissolution.

    🎼 Rasa, Intention, and Usage

    • Rasa: Śānta (peace), Ānanda (bliss), Advaita (non-dual)
    • Instruments: Subtle ambient tones
    • Tempo: Meditative
    • Best for: Brahma Muhurta, meditation, yoga, silence practice

    Use it:

    • During prāṇāyāma and japa
    • In yoga nidrā or samādhi practice
    • Before sleep or at dawn

Let this Lahri not be recited —
    Let it dissolve you.

    🕊 Closing Reflection

There is a moment where even Om̐ disappears.
Where there is no doer, no chant, no devotion.
Only the bliss of Brahman — silent, self-shining, eternal.

    That is Brahmānanda.
That is where the Lahri ends — and You begin.
