From the blindness of ego to the clarity of grace — a poetic hymn to the eternal guide within.
🕉️ “Not by my effort did I reach the light — it was the Master who became my eyes.”
✨ Introduction – The Inner Pilgrimage
There are paths we walk with feet…
…and there are paths only the soul can walk.
In the pride of knowledge, we wander.
In the hunger of desire, we stray.
But when the soul cries — not for success, not for liberation, but for truth —
the Master appears.
Not always in form.
Sometimes as silence.
Sometimes as a question that won’t leave.
Sometimes as a voice, a vision, or a verse that reshapes the inner sky.
This blog is my offering to that eternal Master — the light of my soul, the one who showed me the way home.
📜 The Poem – Verses of Devotion and Awakening
Verse 1: The Fall into Ignorance
In the pride of ignorance I drifted deep and far
Lost in shadows blind to wisdom’s guiding star
Bhāva:
Pride makes us believe we know.
But real knowing begins when ego breaks — when we admit: I am lost.
Verse 2: The Master Appears
To life’s sacred gates you led me near
Unveiling skies where peace is crystal clear
Bhāva:
The Master never forces. He leads.
Like the moon guiding the tides, he brings the seeker to the gate — but never opens it without readiness.
Verse 3: The Invocation
Master, O Master, light of my soul
You guide me to truth, you make me whole
Master, O Master, endless and true
Every step I take I owe to You
Bhāva:
These lines are a mantra — a surrender in rhythm.
The seeker doesn’t ask anymore — he bows.
Verse 4: Veils of the Heart
Wrapped in veils of darkness my heart lay still
Entangled in threads of endless desire and will
Bhāva:
Desire is not evil. But when it becomes a web, we forget our wings.
The Master does not cut — he burns softly, through presence.
Verse 5: The Lamp of Liberation
You lit the lamp that pierced the night
Shattering chains, freeing me into light
Bhāva:
No fire outside can free us.
It is the inner flame, kindled by the Master, that burns illusion into dawn.
🔱 What Is a Master?
A Master is not a teacher.
He does not fill you — he empties you of all that blocks truth.
He may have a name. Or he may not.
He may be external — or the awakening spark within.
In Sanātana Dharma, the Master is known as:
- Sadguru – the dispeller of darkness
- Dakshinamurti – the silent revealer of Self
- Guru Tattva – the cosmic intelligence guiding us home
🌿 Receiving the Master’s Grace
To walk with a Master is not about being close to him — but about being close to your own truth.
Grace is not a reward. It is a recognition.
You don’t find the Master.
The Master finds you — when you stop pretending to know.
🌸 Bhāva-Sāra – The Essence of These Verses
This composition is a hymn of devotional humility — from seeker to source, from noise to clarity.
Each verse carries the rasa of:
- Moksha through surrender
- Healing through remembrance
- Wholeness through devotion
These are not lyrics. They are steps of awakening.
The ego falls not by force — but by gratitude.
That is the Master’s real miracle.
